My name is Eniola Ogedengbe Daniel, a multidisciplinary artist based in Lagos, Nigeria who works at the intersection of photography, fashion, and direction. My work is driven by nostalgia from my childhood and world-building in response to societal oppression, emotional distress, climate crisis, blackness and serves as refuge, resistance and hope for a radiant future.
The images that I create are fashioned to challenge the movement of power through society in today’s world, the ones that quietly decides who gets to be visible, and who gets to be invincible. And so, I explore themes of freedom, hope, presence and individuality through imake-making.
My works have been published on local and international platforms like PhotoVogue, Gida Journal, Guzangs, Axis Magazine, Marie Claire Nigeria, VSCO etc and I've worked with leading labels like Tia Adeola, Homecoming, Meji Meji, Deji And Kola, Badé World, Elexiay, Lisa Folawiyo, Abiola Olusola, just to name a few. I was also longlisted for Booooooom Photo Awards 2026, a list of 200 out of over 20,000 entries with a portrait I captured during a Meji Meji campaign production.
